The ESR Error generally occurs when two or more VMR versions are installed to multiple locations. When the DAW picks up on both locations, the ESR Error is prompted. It can also happen if the DAW is open during the plugin installation. It's important to ensure your DAW is closed during any plugin installation.
This issue can be fixed by deleting the older VMR version from your plugin paths. We recommend to first uninstall the plugin experiencing the error using the "Uninstall.command" file found in Applications/Slate Digital/
Once the plugin has been uninstalled, please check the following plugin paths and delete any instance of the plugin that remains:
Audio Unit: Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plugins/Components/
VST: Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST/
VST3: Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST3/
AAX: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plugins/
RTAS (no longer supported): Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plugins/
NOTE: Be sure to check outside the "Slate Digital" folder from each of the paths listed above.
After the plugin has been removed, install the latest version and re-launch your DAW. The latest plugin versions can be found here.

If you are experiencing issues with Saving, Loading, or creating new presets, please ensure privileges are set to "read and write" for the following location:
/Library/Application Support/Slate Digital
Be sure to "apply changes to enclosed items".
If you are experiencing this issue with Repeater or an Eiosis plugin, be sure to process the same steps as above for Library/Application Support/D16 Group and Library/Application Support/Eiosis
