S-Gear Activation Error

Activation Error - The software cannot be run because the activation experience thinks the authorization was found, but the wrapper could not identify it. 

If you experience the issue above, please try the following:

1) Ensure the iLok License Manager is up-to-date. 
2) Uninstall the plugin experiencing the issue. You can do this by removing the plugin from the plugin paths below:

Mac OSX:

Remove the plugin from the following plugin paths:

HD/Library/Audio/Plugins/Components/
HD/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST/
HD/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST3/
HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plugins/
HD/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plugins/

HD/Library/Application Support/Slate Digital/

HD/Library/Application Support/Scuffham Amps

HD/Library/Application Support/Eiosis

Windows:

C:/Program Files/Vstplugins
C:/Program Files (x86)/Vstplugins
C:/Program Files/Common Files/VST3
C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/VST3
C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Digidesign/DAE/Plug-Ins
C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins
C:/Program Files/Common Files/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins

You will need to "show hidden files and folders" to view the following paths:

C:/Program Data/Slate Digital

C:/Program Data/Scuffham Amps

C:/Program Data/Eiosis

 

3) Reinstall the plugin. If you are an Everything Bundle user, plugin installers can be found on the following page: Everything Bundle Installers

All other users can access plugin installers by logging into their Slate User Account. If issues persist, please submit a support request
